Stained Glass Deco (1): unique fibre art

I love both stained glass and particularly art deco and art nouveau styles. This design is based on the stained glass artwork of Charles Rennie Macintosh. Several mauve art deco stylised flowers are segmented by dark black-green thread, with more threads forming an illusion of stained glass.

Another art deco themed artwork is in the planning stages, which is why I've named this Stained Glass Deco (1).

Main colours: mauves, pale greens

Method: stitching art—mainly long stitch on tapestry canvas.
Frame: plain black frame with wide white mat
Fibres: wool—knitting and tapestry wools
Canvas: tapestry canvas
Approx size: Framed 25 x 33 cm Mat 20 x 25 cm

Price includes packaging and tracked parcel postage within New Zealand. There's an extra cost for courier.
