Professionally dyed silk hankies, dyed with acid-fast dyes. Give your next project some lustre and glam with some Mulberry Silk!

Each hanky is appproximately 25 cm x 25 cm.

Silk hankies are ideal for:
- Spinning - push your thumbs through the middle of a single hanky and then stretch until you have "rope" of the desired thickness. This can then be spun with other fibres or used on its own or plied with "singles".
- Knitting / crochet - it is possible to incorporate the silk "ropes" into your knitting and crochet projects
- Felt-making - single hankies can be laid on the surface of your wool to give shine and texture or pulled into "ropes" than can be used to draw or write on your felt.
- Paper-making - individual hankies can be laid on the frame before adding pulp or cut up and added to the pulp mix

These are 100% Mulberry Silk Hankies also known as Mawata.

I am happy to dye different quantities and colour-ways on request, please message me for details. It takes approximately 10 days to dye and dry silk hankies ready for shipping.
