Make Your Own Felted Snowman Soap Kit with Online Video Tutorial, Beginner-Friendly Craft Kit

We all should be washing our hands regularly to stop the spread of nasty diseases, I am on a mission to make hand-washing fun for our tamariki and the young at heart alike! This felted soap kit contains 2 pages of full-colour, step-by-step illustrated instructions and enough materials to make 1 felted soap. The instructions also contain a link to a video tutorial. Just add dish soap and water.

This kit is suitable for beginner felt-makers and children over 10 years (younger children may need help with cutting the soap and the needle-felting parts of this kit).

What is felted soap?
It is a bar of soap that has been encased in felted merino wool.

Why use felted soaps?
- the soap lasts 4 to 6 times longer
- the felt provides gentle exfoliation while you wash
- the soap is easier to grip when wet, no more chasing slippery soap around the shower!
- no need for a wash cloth, it is built in!

Each kit comes with wool, netting, a felting needle, a bar of dove soap and instructions including a link to a video tutorial detailing, step by step, how to make your felted soap.

Once the soap is used up you will be left with a hollow felt pocket that can be used in a variety ways, please see the link on the instructions page for ideas. If you do not wish to up-cycle it, it can be cut up and composted as it is made from 100% wool.
