Hand Painted Wooden Tui with Pohutukawa Flower Tail Necklace
A beautiful laser cut wooden NZ Tui with a Pohutukawa flower pattern tail, hand painted with a tiny paintbrush and finished with a non-toxic protective varnish. It hangs from a fine, beaded antique brass chain.
These are hand painted wearable artworks of my own design, handmade in Christchurch.
Measurements:
Tui: 5.6cm tall x 3.9cm wide x 4mm thick.
Chain: 84cm in length, designed to sit on the upper stomach on a small to average sized woman. If you would like a different length chain, please message me, or ask in the order comments.The chain links are 1.3mm x 2mm, and the beads are 1mm x 2mm.
Materials:
Tui: High quality hoop pine plywood, Resene paint and Voodoo Molly Vintage Clearcoat waterbased urethane.
Chain and lobster clasp: Antique brass (nickel and lead free).
Please note that each piece I make varies very slightly so it may differ a little from the one in the photos. This is the nature of handmade items :)
