Baby's First Christmas Ornament

One of the loveliest family traditions is the creation of a set of Christmas ornaments for each child of the family,

I have done this for each of my own children, and each collection begins with this Birthdate Ball, where their name and date of birth are recorded on one side, with a hand stitched baby in a sling on the other side. The hair and eye colour of the baby can be changed to suit, as can the colour of the trims and date embroidery.

I can also do variations on this theme to record other events - First Day of School, university graduation, Army service and so on.

These are light and make an excellent gift option to post overseas to commemorate new babies.

The finished article measures approx 7.5cm across. Each item is made to order, so please allow 7 working days, although I usually get them made within a day or two of order if there are no special options.

Made with cotton embroidery fabric and thread, wool padding, nylon ribbon and trim.
