Fantail hanging 3D slot-together

I've been so inspired working with plywood (which I love) and the beautiful native birds of New Zealand that I wanted to produce something to add to my collection that was more tactile. So, sticking with the slightly retro theme, I came up with some designs for what I call "3D slot-togethers".

The 3D slot-together Fantail is partly printed and partly left undecorated to take advantage of the beautiful wood grain. Made from interior grade 3mm 3-ply sustainable pine which has been hand sanded and printed with solvent free UV curable non-fading Osé ink to ensure a quality finish.

Enjoyed by children and adults alike this makes a fun and natural hanging decoration, is easy to assemble and dismantle and can be packed flat for posting. A perfect gift for someone you cherish or to send overseas as a reminder of "home". Or how about a gift for the arrival of a new baby - this would look absolutely gorgeous hanging over a cot!
