Five-pack of greeting cards (one free!) featuring artwork titled 'When Kawakawa Hearts Come Calling' by artist / printmaker Keeley Eastwood.

The original artwork is a handmade, hand-coloured gel plate monoprint created using the mediums of acrylic paint, coloured pencil, metallic pens and paper.

The artwork's depiction of New Zealand's beautiful native (and highly symbolic) heart-shaped kawakawa leaves makes these cards ideal to send to loved ones on many occasions: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Get Well Soon, Coming of Age, New Birth, Bereavement, Birthday - or just simply to show you care.

Come with brown paper envelope.

A6 size greeting cards fit comfortably into the C6 size envelopes.

Printed at a local printing house in Keeley’s hometown.

Card stock used is 'carbon neutral' and 'FSC' certified ('FSC' certification ensures that products come from sustainably managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.)

Also available as an authentic 'Giclee Fine Art' print and in greeting card multi-packs (see artist's other listings on Felt.co.nz.)

**OVERSEAS ORDERS NOTE**
While I'm New Zealand-based, I'm happy to ship my products overseas where possible. If you'd like to order an item through my Felt shop but are unable to find a shipping option for your particular location, please 'message' me before making the order and I will endeavour to add an option that suits. Please note that all overseas orders are shipped using the 'Economy Tracked' option. While the estimated 'time of arrival' given on the 'NZ Post' website for parcels sent using this option is 6-14 working days, there may be delays due to circumstances out of my control.

From the artist:
“I found working on this particular artwork therapeutic, since it seemed to allow for a sort of cathartic channelling (through the mediums added) of personal and collective human emotion, state of mind and sense of being, the presence of which I was feeling and sensing at the time.

"The artwork’s main composition of kawakawa leaves and unfurling korus (fern tendrils) − with all their inherent symbolism − perhaps played a key role in enabling this process to happen. But, if so, then it happened subconsciously.

"The multitude of emotions, qualities, states of mind and senses of being I felt channelled into the artwork include healing, hope, love, honesty, grief, the act of processing, spirituality, searching, longing, truth, listening to the heart, following the heart, dark, light, other-worldliness, ancestral connections and whisperings, callings of the heart, death, birth, retreat, heeding the call, depression, renewal, recovery, growth, re-growth and more.”
