black and purple kete

Beautiful kete handmade from New Zealand harakeke (flax) with purple and black pattern.

Due to natural variation in the colour of the flax every kete made is 'one of a kind'. This kete is made from a combination of natural (untreated) and dyed flax woven into a unique pattern

This kete is 24 cm (high) x 33 cm (wide)(approx) in size.

The strap length is 90 cm (from end to end). This length is suitable for wearing over shoulder and tucking under arm. The strap is a combination of three and four strand strap styles - utilising the best of both styles.
