Stained Glass Huia Feather

Made from black opaque glass and streaky white glass, this piece is made with the Huia in mind, a now extinct native New Zealand bird.
It's created using the Tiffany method of construction. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, smoothed and copper-foiled then soldered together using 60/40 lead tin solder which has been stained with a black patina. The feather-end is made from stainless steel wire. The hanging loop is created from Tiger Tail wire.
Measures 15cm in length and 5.5cm in width. Full length including the hanging loop is 20cm.
Super-packed in a polystyrene and bubble-wrap sandwich, this can be delivered anywhere within NZ as well as anywhere on the planet. Any question just ask!
