Hanbuilt vase
This vase was built by hand. First the clay is rolled into sheets that are then cut, shaped and assembled to become a three dimensional shape. After refining the shape and smoothing the edges, the colour details were added before the first firing, then the glaze inside was applied before the second and last firing.
The clear glaze inside makes this vase water tight, meaning you can put some water in it to keep fresh flowers looking great for longer.
