Fused Glass Coasters Set of 2 Multi-Colour

Each coaster is created by stacking varying sized square and rectangle pieces of glass on a base, then firing in a kiln to ~800 degrees c. The glass is then slowly cooled and cycled through a double annealing phase to give the coasters durability.

This set of fused glass coasters have a white base that has been stacked with layers of multi-coloured glass.

Each coaster has a unique combination of glass stacks, so no two coasters are the same. The coasters have a smooth but slightly uneven surface and edge which adds dimensional interest and also prevents cups sticking to them. Silicone bumpers have been applied to the base of each coaster to prevent slipping and scratching.

Approximate dimensions of each coaster: 9 - 9.5 cm square.

These coasters are food safe.
DO NOT put in dishwasher.
Simple wipe the top surface with a damp cloth to prevent the little silicone bumpers coming loose.
