A bit about re:created...
I am a mother of two young girls, and I make handmade dolls and toys, using 100% recycled fabrics and other recycled materials. I have been making toys for a number a years now and I love creating them, each one ends up with a different character!
Because the fabrics and materials are never the same each toy is unique. I try to use natural fabrics where ever possible, and love working with cotton and wool. Over the last 8 or so years I have collected fabrics and old clothes, shirts, woolen skirts, merino tops, with the vision that one day I can make them into a cute toy that needs some loving! Each one is made with love and care. I absolutely love the idea that my toys will be treasured, played with and loved.
This adorable doll was inspired by the lovely colours of Springtime blossoms and buds. She is ready for someone to play with, create memories with and have adventures and cuddles with. She is wearing a floral cotton dress and leg warmers, with a merino scarf. Her hair is made from wool and has been painstakingly hand sewn taking many hours!
She sits approximately 30cm, standing at 45cm high.
