Limited edition A4 giclée print of a watercolour painting 'The Artful Lodger'
This is a A4 giclée print of an original watercolour painting 'The Artful Lodger - the story of Riroriro and Pīpīwharauroa'
Ideal for the ornithology enthusiast in your life, it shows a Grey Warbler nest that we found hanging in an Akeake in our garden - such a beautiful structure made from grasses, lichen, with feathers and hairs woven through it.
Below the nest, from left to right is a Grey Warbler egg, a olive green Shining Cuckoo egg and feathers from the breast and wing of a Shining Cuckoo.
I was fascinated to read about the relationship between the Grey Warbler - Gerygone igata and the Shining Cuckoo - Chrysococcyx lucidus. Shining cuckoos are brood parasites, laying their eggs singly in nests of Grey Warblers (mainland) and Chatham Island warblers.
Beautiful, high quality and archival, this is one of a limited edition of 25, each labelled and signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The image, including the title and signature is approx.16cms wide x 24cms high and centred on A4 paper in portrait orientation.

The paper used is a fine art 100% cotton paper, 300 gsm which is acid and lignin free and archival certified for 100+ years.
The inks used are Epson High Dynamic Ultra Chrome Range (HDR), a 10 colour ink system which has ensured that every hue and shade in the original work is reproduced in this print.
Your unframed print will be carefully packed with a rigid backing to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
It is recommended that all artwork be displayed out of direct sunlight.
