Solid gold and pink sapphire cherry blossom pendant

This simple blossom pendant is a fun expression of spring.
I have melted down my scrap 9ct yellow gold into balls and then rolled it flat to hand pierce (saw) out the blossom shape. I then burr out the holes for the gems and move the metal onto the sapphires. After the gems are locked in tight, I use a hand held graver to engrave the bright sparkling details, this is where the magic happens. The piece goes from a slightly rough, bland metal and stone thing, to a refined, sophisticated exquisite piece of heirloom jewellery.
These pink and gold blossom is made from solid 9ct yellow gold and natural pink sapphires.
It measures approximately 1.6mm thick and the blossom is 10mm diameter.
This pendant comes with a solid 9ct yellow gold 45cm chain. Please feel welcome to request a different length chain.
