Awoke is a story in the making. Our Heroes are on a quest, travelling through dreams of wood, water, stone and ice. Seemingly in opposition to each other, the dreamlike worlds are interconnected and interdependent but drifting further and further apart.

This is the fourth part of ‘Awoke’. This theme started in November 2009 with a series of paintings, ink, acrylic and found objects on wooden boards and plush characters.

Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking technique. An image is incised into a plate with a hard-pointed “needle” of sharp metal or diamond point. Traditionally, the plate was copper or zinc, but today, a transparent acrylic sheet is commonly used.

All prints are hand-printed. The nature of its manufacture means that there might be colour and print variations even in prints of one edition.

The print is unframed and shipped flat in a rigid mailer.
