Hand Painted Wooden Kererū with Kowhai Flower Brooch

A beautiful laser cut NZ wood pigeon wearing a kowhai necklace, hand painted with a tiny paintbrush and finished with a non-toxic protective varnish. It has been painted with a turquoise to purple gradient to express the kererū's naturally beautiful colouring. Attached on the back is a gold-tone lockable brooch pin.
These are hand painted wearable artworks of my own design, handmade in Christchurch.
Measurements:
Kererū: 5.4cm tall x 4.3cm wide x 4mm thick.
Brooch pin: 2.6mm wide by 6.5mm tall by 7.5mm deep.
The kererū is made of a high quality hoop pine plywood, painted with Resene paint and Voodoo Molly Vintage Clearcoat waterbased urethane.
Please note that each piece I make varies very slightly so it may differ a little from the one in the photos. This is the nature of handmade items :)
