Hand Cream Class with Jo

In this class you will work in teams of five to create your own small batch of hand cream. Jo will show you how to get oil phase and aqueous phase solutions to mix together and stay emulsified, to create a healing cream showcasing NZ olive oil, Rose NZ Hydrosol (Rosewater) and NZ Beeswax.

Take home your own 30g pot of cream which you have personalized with your choice of essential oil blend, or leave it fragrance free - its up to you!

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CLEAN NITRILE or LATEX DIPPED GARDENING GLOVES to protect your hands from steam burns. All other pots, ingredients, equipment and safety equipment is supplied in the $11 fee.

The green nitrile ones pictured are available from Oderings or New World for between $7 and $10, and Portstone on Ferry Rd, Woolston, has suitable Latex ones for $5. The yellow ones come highly recommended as they at more water proof. See pic in gallery of display stand in store.
