"Sunshine" depicts summer afternoons spent by the artist drawing sunflowers in the garden with Ziggy the tabby cat.

"Sunshine" is a limited edition linocut print by Katie Russell. The design is carved in mirror image into traditional artist lino. It is then inked by hand using a brayer and printed by Katie using an etching press. Due to the handmade nature of the process subtle variations can occur between each impression.

Katie has used a "rainbow roll" to create a gradient effect on this print. The yellow ink in this print takes on a slightly translucent quality in some lights. Colours may vary slightly from the print pictured so get in touch if you would like a photo of the prints currently in stock.

This print is a limited edition of 30 signed by the artist and printed on kitakata: a quality 36gsm washi paper handmade in Japan.
Each print measures 200mm x 200mm, and has a natural deckle edge.
