One On One Crochet Lessons

Crocheting is fun, fast (eventually) and oh so fantastic! Long gone are the days that it was just nanas that are crocheting – well, they still are but there are many others like me that are not nanas yet!

Right now, crochet items are seriously on-trend in fashion, toys and home furnishing.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Each tutorial is completely based at your own speed and around your own level of experience. Once you have become confident with the basics, you will be able to make anything from hats, scarves and baby wear, to cushions, toys and bags.

If you are completely new to crochet, we’ll learn basic stitches, reading patterns and following diagrams followed by starting on a project. I encourage you to start on a very simple project first. I can give you recommendations if you require.

I started crocheting five years ago and I’ve been literally hooked ever since. You will notice that I didn’t say anywhere above that it will be easy – don’t get me wrong – it will be easy eventually but there’ll likely be lots of frustration when you first start. Just remember, you fall over heaps before you start walking!

THE FINE PRINT

• $45 per person per hour at my house or $55 per person per hour at yours. Minimum 1 hour.
• Full non-refundable payment required at the time of booking.
• Flexible hours Monday – Sunday.
• No ongoing commitment.
• Supply all your own crochet tools or I can supply a basic kit which includes 2 crochet hooks, tapestry needles, pins, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers - $20.
• Supply your own pattern and yarn or choose one of my items from my website.
• Patterns for items chosen from my website cannot be copied but I can provide the source so you can purchase the pattern direct from the designer or I can purchase on your behalf.
• I can provide all the materials required for any of the patterns on my website. Contact me for the cost.
