Haraheke A4 Print

This magnificent plant grows along a branch of the Kaiapoi River just North of Otautahi/Christchurch. I spent a few hours with the plant, making careful colour notes and preliminary sketches, what I call "getting to know the plant." I felt uplifted while in the presence of this harakeke, actually a collection of dozens of happy family groups. I've included a photo of the plant itself.

The original artwork was done using coloured pencils, watercolour pencils and technical pens on a beautiful creamy fabriano paper. The print itself is on low gloss poster style paper. It can be framed, mounted, laminated or just thumb-tacked to the wall, or attached to your fridge with magnets.

It will be mailed to you flat, reinforced with extra card. This would be a lovely gift for a gardener, a weaver, or anyone who enjoys our incredible natural environment.
