Plant printed silk scarf - Embers
Wrap up in this original pure silk scarf that has been hand-dyed using real leaves including a variety of Eucalyptus and Tanekaha. A scattering of leaves on the fabric has given a repeating rhythmic pattern, in warm gold and smokey grey hues.
Lovingly created in my artisan dye studio using locally foraged botanicals to infuse leaf prints and organic colours on natural fibres. I use an eco friendly and sustainable technique that generates no waste. These imprints have excellent light and colour fastness, please see care instructions. An original artisan piece to bring joy for a lifetime while treading lightly on the earth. Habotai is a woven lightweight silk with a smooth sheen and soft drape, a perfect weight for spring and summer but giving enough warmth to be versatile to give warmth in winter too.
Scarf measures 150 cm x 28 cm. Silk weight 8 momme
Hand wash in warm water with wool wash detergent. Line dry.
