Tomtit Whanau Print
This is a print of graphite on paper.
The Tomtit is a NZ native. These friendly birds are often found in beech forests, although they are regular visitors around my studio as well.. They appreciate the insects disturbed by trampers and will often come close to eat them. On Hinewai Reserve we have nicknamed the males Thomas and the females Thomasina.
A percentage of each sale of this print goes to support Hinewai Reserve (www.hinewai.org.nz), a wildlife sanctuary on Banks Peninsula.
My work is achieved by adding layers of graphite to build up from a base of mid-tone graphite to the darks and lights that create the texture and shading.
This print is A4 (21 cm x 29.5 cm). It can fit an A4 frame or an 8 x 10 (20 cm x 25.5 cm) frame.
All my prints are professionally produced and they are posted in purpose made card boxes to ensure they arrive on your doorstep in the best possible condition.
