This “glass with a past” platter/dish has been crafted out of a Smirnoff Vodka bottle using a kiln firing technique called slumping. This process uses a kiln to heat the glass bottle slowly to a temperature of 800 Deg c, softening the glass enough for it to collapse on itself. It is then cooled slowly back to room temperature. The bottle neck has been lightly embellished with beads and craft wire after firing.

Dimensions: 31 cm long x 12 cm wide.

Each bottle comes with silicone feet.
Slumped bottles are food safe and can be used for platters and if slumped into a dish can be used for dips. They also make great ornaments and plant holders. The last image is an example of how a platter can be used.
