Ingredients: Kawakawa and calendula infused Organic olive oil, candellila wax, Organic coconut oil, vitamin E. 60ml.

Kawakawa is a pretty popular native herb in New Zealand, and for good reason!

Studies have shown anti-inflammatory actions that are particularly beneficial to skin conditions that may include dryness, redness, soreness, flaking, and hot skin conditions such as eczema and cuts and grazes.

Calendula acts as a supporting act to aid in skin renewal and increased wound healing.

Candelilla wax is a food grade, plant based wax used in place of beeswax, meaning no animal products are used.

As a balm, this product is quite thick and acts as a barrier to protect and nurture specific areas of skin. It will take time to absorb, providing a layer of cover for the skin. As such, be aware that this may come off on to clothing or fabrics. Similarly, if being used for conditions like nappy rash, ensure you use a liner for reusable nappies to avoid product build up.

Handmade in small batches to ensure the highest quality product is produced.

Application: Place a small amount of balm into your hands using a small spoon or scoop, then apply to the needed area. Replace the lid once finished and place in a cool, dark spot out of direct sunlight. Only a small amount is needed for each application, but this can be repeated 2-3 times over the day or as necessary.

It is recommended that plasters are not placed over the top of the balm, as they fail to remain sticky and it can reduce healing time.
Balms do melt slightly in warmer weather but they can be placed in the fridge to reharden. This makes for a nice cooling sensation for heat-related ailments.

All care has been taken to choose safe, gentle ingredients without nuts, seeds, gmo, heavily refined oils, and bee or animal products to reduce the likelihood of reaction; however, a patch test is always advised first and this product is not recommended if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed.

The herbs used are generally considered safe.

All products are kept in amber glass to protect the integrity of the oils and it is recommended to keep products in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight.

External use within 12 months of opening, avoiding the eyes and mouth. If accidentally swallowed, contact your GP for guidance.

If you notice any microbe development, discard the product. Once finished, the jar can be cleaned with soap and water and re-used - labels can be removed with soap and water.
