Wall quilt "Summer Hills"
A calm and gentle landscape, inspired by the gplden-brown hills of Banks Peninsula, Canterbury.
I used my own hand dyed 100% cotton to achieve the subtle colour shading of the hills, the wind-blown sky and the green farm fields.
Quilted over dacron batting, supported by a stiffening insert with cords for hanging.
50 cm. diameter circle.
