Location: General Pottery 49 Ferry Rd, Christchurch 8011.
Learn how to make glazes from scratch and how colour or texture is created. In this block you will learn how to adjust your white glaze base to create pastel and opaque glazes. This four week course will take you through the basics of glaze making so that you feel more confident in your pottery studio. You will make test tiles, experiment with materials, and make test glazes. You will need to bring 1ltr of white glaze with you. All other materials and firing are included in the pricing…you just need to bring an apron, a pen and heaps of energy!
