These Christmas cards are hand printed using a vintage printing press (letterpress) with an authentic 1950s printing block of a Christmas Tree on the front.
Inside, there is a beautiful example of the 1920s typeface Gill Sans, with ‘Meri Kirihimete’ (Merry Christmas in te reo Māori), printed in red onto kraft card stock.
Some images show a kraft paper envelope, but these cards come with a dark red envelope, with a cheerful run of embossed dots over the enclosure.
The card and envelope are supplied in a plastic protective sleeve, but if you are wanting to keep your gifts plastic-free this year just let me know and I’ll pop it in a paper bag instead.
