NATURALLY DYED SILK EYE PILLOW - MADDER ROOT + WALNUT

A one-of-a-kind naturally dyed aromatic silk eye pillow, the perfect accessory for a moment of relaxation, to assist in sleep or to soothe headaches. Created from silk that has been dyed and printed naturally with madder root and foraged walnut husks. The silk cover is removable and washable.

The cotton inner is filled with linseed, buckwheat, chamomile and homegrown lavender. To intensify the aroma, you can add a few drops of lavender or chamomile oil. Approximately 24x10cm.

Natural dyes are used in the creation of this textile piece as an eco-friendly alternative to their synthetic counterparts. They are not only planet friendly, but they produce a lustre and complexity unlike synthetic dyes. There are steps taken in the natural dye process to ensure that these prints and colours are durable and long-lasting. Because they are created by nature, some colours may shift or patina over time, especially if exposed to the sun for long periods of time.

We recommend washing only when needed. When you do, handwash / gentle machine wash the outer silk cover only, with a mild eco-friendly detergent on cold. When drying, do so in shade and when not being used keep out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
