Plant dyed merino top

A bold long sleeved merino top, hand dyed with winter botanicals. Colours and prints featured in this garment are from locally harvested windfall and prunings of casuarina and grevillea.
To make these eco prints, or botanical contact print I collect seasonal leaves using a respectful kaupapa, and repurpose preloved garments to keep sustainability integral to my mahi . This contemporary art form bundles fabrics up with plant matter to create one of kind eco friendly garments, made with aroha.

Pure silk satin.
Size to fit women's 12
Length shoulder to hem 65 cm
Around chest across bust line, lying flat and unstretched is 38 cm. Has good amount of stretch in fabric.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash in a pH neutral detergent, I recommend a wool wash such as Ecostore Eucalyptus or Softly.
Line dry in the shade. Warm iron. Wear often.
