'Spoonbills' Merino Hand Printed Scarf

100% merino scarf, screen printed by hand (by me!) with one of my original designs, these silky-soft lightweight scarves are perfect for layering across the seasons.

Currently available in a silvery grey marle with my 'Spoonbills' print in white.
In this design, a trio of majestic Royal Spoonbills fly across a suggestion of foggy clouds - these birds are one of my favourite seasonal visitors to Otago Harbour, I love watching them spoon away in one of the bays, or a crowd of them nestled in a tree to rest with their funky hairstyle and funny bill. This print was inspired by seeing our local 'Spoonies' departing for warmer climes towards the end of Lockdown when a small flock of them flew over our house.

100% Merino, 140-150 gsm (ZQ certified merino), finished with a rolled hem edge.
Size: approx 30cm x 180cm

Care instructions: wash with similar colours for first wash. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold or warm water with a gentle laundry detergent. If ironing is required, then use a medium/wool setting from the reverse side to protect the print.
