Firepolished glass beads in toffee or chestnut brown, topped by pumpkin-shaped, antiqued-copper coloured beads, hang from elegantly arched ear-wires.
These glass beads have an unusual shape, like rectangles with rounded corners and three or four soft facets on each side.
Firepolishing is a technique whereby the beads are 'polished' by subjecting them to a very hot flame, creating a bright, shiny surface. Firepolished glass typically has a high shine and beautiful, clear colour.
The ear-wires are made of copper that has been 'antiqued' – artificially aged – and is without nickel.

'Lin' is a Chinese name that can mean 'forest' or 'fine jade or gemstone', depending on what characters are used to write it. The 'Lin' earrings are also available in peridot green and smoky grey in my Felt shop. This is the last pair of the toffee coloured ones I have available.
The 'Lin' earrings measure 59mm from top to bottom. The glass beads are 18mm long and 15mm wide.
