Miniature medieval pie

Hand raised medieval pie for a feast day, featuring floral shapes around the reinforced edge. Simple embossing on top and crimped edges complete the decoration. This pie features an assortment of wild game with dried fruits and herbs for flavouring and is far more elaborate than everyday fare in the Middle Ages. It would have taken pride of place on the table.
Polymer clay shaded with soft pastels baked in and glazed. Just under 25mm (1”) in diameter.
For collectors, and not suitable for small children without adult supervision.
