Pink merino pattern scarf.

If you are looking for a warm scarf in feminine colours that will make a statement this is it. 100% natural merino, knitted in pretty colour combination of floral pinks and yellows. This scarf has a gorgeous drape and the fine spun merino has a slight sheen. Wear it draped for occasion or snug at the neck for winter warmth. It is designed to have a vintage feel. These colours are inspired by Pre Raphaelite painting of beautiful women in country gardens. I knitted this lovely piece in blocks and stripes adding rows of tuck stitch dots to pop against contrasting colours. It was great fun to knit, colour mixing like a painting, free flow from one end to the middle then reversing all the way to the end. The end result is symmetrical. You can wear it many ways to highlight different parts of the pattern. All needle selection, in this scarf was done by hand as is all colour changing, sewing in ends etc. This yarn is a very good quality, top end fashion Merino, soft, smooth and luxurious yet robust and washable.
