Pale blue vintage style merino scarf.

If you are looking for a warm pale blue scarf that will stand out, this is for you. This is 100% natural merino, soft and warm in lovely rich tones of pale blue green aubergine and blush pink. Designed to have a vintage feel, it is one of my 'Biba goes Pre Raphelite' collection. I knitted this lovely piece in blocks and stripes of colour adding rows of tuck stitch to pop against contrasting colours. It was great fun to knit, colour mixing like a painting, free flow from one end to the middle then reversing all the way to the end. The end result is symmetrical. You can wear it many ways to highlight different parts of the pattern. All needle selection, in this scarf was done by hand as is all colour changing, sewing in ends etc. This yarn is a very good quality, top end fashion Merino, soft, smooth and luxurious yet robust and washable.
