wooden perspex earrings

These elegant earrings have an amazing translucent perspex, that is beautifully contrasted to the amazing colours of a segment of broken skateboard wood, and finished off with a topping of recycled mahogany wood

Whats great about these

-the fittings are made from 0.8mm round Sterling silver, shaped by me (Matt)

-they are super light you can wear these all day without discomfort.

-they are made from recycled mahogany, which I sourced from an old headboard

-the broken skateboard wood (Canadian maple) is sourced from Wayne at @cwworks who recycles broken skateboards into knife handles. He kindly supplies me with odd bits

-the perspex is from unusable off cuts from industries around Christchurch

-the wood is finished with a beeswax finish

-We use recycled cardboard for transport packaging

-$4 for tracked postage around New Zealand including Rural deliveries.


Full length of earring including fitting is 5.5cm. Perspex/wood circle 19mm diameter.
