Pink African Violet Teacosy, Tea Cosy

As a child, I remember my Mum had pots and pots of African Violets on our kitchen windowsill, and I was fascinated by how you could snip off a leaf, put it in a jar of water and the leaf would grow roots and you had another plant.

This tea cosy is my interpretation of those pots of colour, with their dark green velvety leaves and dainty pink flowers all perched in a terracotta pot. Colours are actually brighter than they appear in the photo.

Handknitted, in a smoke free home, from pure new wool and wool blends ( wool and wool blends give the best insulation properties).

Fits a 4 cup teapot.
