Miniature Stone Church with Steeple, Bell, and Silver Birch Tree

This item is a handcrafted miniature replica church mounted on a stone base. This church is based on an original stone church that was built in 1892 in Central Otago.

Each model replica is crafted by hand with a hammer and chisel. The tin roof is snipped piece by piece from original rusty tin. The church and all of the accompanying parts are then mounted on a piece of Central Otago stone. These are made the same way that our ancestors built these buildings during their search for gold.

The windows are stained glass set in a wooden frame and match the windows on the opposite side of the church.

My churches are really rare and special because I only make 4-6 a year.
