Vintage stitch scarf.

If you are looking for a short scarf that is super fun to wear, this is for you. Designed to have a vintage feel, it is one of my 'Biba goes Pre Raphelite' collection. I knitted this lovely piece in blocks and stripes of khaki, pale yellow, taupe and blush pink adding little rows of tuck stitch dots to evoke a vintage feel. It was great fun to knit, colour mixing like a painting, free flow from one end to the other. The end result is asymmetrical so you can wear it many ways to highlight different colour mixes. All needle selection, in this scarf was done by hand as is all colour changing, sewing in ends etc. This yarn is top end Italian Merino, soft, smooth yet robust and luxurious. It is washable.
