Classic Raglan Cardigan - Newborn

These cardigans are a sweet and simple addition to any outfit. The classic design lends itself to a boy or girl making it the perfect gift at a baby shower, especially when gender is a surprise. Ideal for wearing in the car or stroller as the 4-ply fabric ensures warmth without the bulk. Would be a lovely addition to a going home outfit (frame the cardigan along with a photo of baby wearing it as a super sweet reminder of how small they once were). Closes with 2 little wooden buttons.

I choose to knit with 100% merino fibre as it has many advantages for baby wear:
• Soft and flexible on the skin, not prickly
• Extremely warm and cozy without adding bulk
• Breathable, moisture wicking and temperature regulating
• Odour resistant

Por Vida knits are easy to care for – a swish and rinse in a basin of cold or warm water is best, but if you want to machine wash, simply do up the buttons, pop into a delicates bag and select a cold water gentle cycle. Lie flat in the shade to dry. Do not tumble dry, bleach or rub.
