Isla is a handcrafted heirloom doll created with love, care and attention to detail. Isla is made from my own original pattern. She is a OOAK toy that could be an amazing gift or keepsake.
I have been a dollmaker for over 6 years and sewing all my life. Although it’s not my full time job, it’s my passion and creative outlet. Each doll has hours and hours of my time and love sewn into them.
Isla's face is both hand painted and embroidered. Her arms are attached so they are movable and Isla is able to sit up when positioned right. Her hair is painstakingly attached via a crochet wig and can be styled in many ways. There are no raw edges on my dolls and I double/triple stitch everything to ensure these softies withstand hugs and many tea parties but gentle supervised play is always recommended.
Materials: Hand dyed yarn, cotton, knit, embroidery thread, elastic, lace and polyester stuffing.
Size: 42cm
Clothes: Hand knitted cardi, leaf headband, leg warmers and little animal skirt with lace. All clothing items are removable.
Care: Zealous Design dolls are recommended for over 3 years old, and I suggest adult supervision at times of play for all children under 36 months of age. Dolls may be spot cleaned carefully.
