Continuous Zipper Pouch - upcycled
These upcycled zipper pouches are fun, functional, and zero-waste.
Each zipper pouch is handmade in New Zealand from a single long zipper that is sewn in a continuous spiral. The zippers were all salvaged from an old tent. I meticulously picked apart the tent and saved all the materials that could be repurposed. Believe it or not, but there was about 50 m worth of zippers in just one tent!
Kids (and adults alike) will love the novelty of these pouches! It is very satisfying to zip and unzip them, and fun to watch them transform from a pouch into a long strip of zipper and back again.
