'Bluey' - our cute Little Blue Penguin puppet!

'Bluey' - another of our "Softies with Attitude"!
This cute little fellow is an absolute delight. Made from high quality fashion fur fabrics and hard wearing velour for his beak and feet. His feet even have pipe cleaners in them for even more detail.
He is a really cool hand puppet made for the average adult sized hand. You can even slip him over a drinks bottle (or similar) when not in use so he looks just like a normal soft toy!
A wonderful memento of this iconic New Zealand bird.
He is 30cm tall.

My soft toys are all made by me using patterns I have designed myself.
I have been making and designing collectors bears for 30 years and have designed soft toys for several leading international companies.
I take great pride in the finishing and face trimming of each collectors piece to get the expression 'just right'.
This special heirloom friend is made to be a companion for life.

ARE MY SOFTIES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
Sorry - no. Because they contain pellets and use sew-on eyes I do not recommend them for children under 5 years old.
I find my softies are sold mainly to older children or adult collectors who don't tend to chew on them!

CARE
Penguins normally like water but Bluey for some reason doesn't like baths so we recommend a light vacuum occasionally. He might smile as he is ticklish.
If Bluey has been very naughty and dribbled something on himself then a light surface sponge with warm soapy water will do the trick.
