Pukekos are a favourite bird to watch, with their silly oversized feet, cute babies and loud behaviour.
I wanted to try and capture some of their character in this pendant, hand-pierced from copper sheet by me in my Wellington studio. The silver frame is also completely handmade in sterling silver. The copper has had a wax sealant applied to help protect the metal from tarnishing.
Comes with a silver plated chain.
