Candles - pure beeswax
Brun 100% beeswax candles that are cleaner and brighter.
As someone who has always lit and burnt candles at home I was pretty horrified to find out a few years ago that most candles are petroleum based. How did I not know this?! When we started to keep bees the gorgeous and mild smell of pure beeswax encouraged me to begin candle making. What a joy (:
Our candles are 100% pure beeswax from our hives. We beekeep as organically as possible and don’t use the wax if we have to use varroa treatment. They burn brighter, cleaner and longer than many other candles. A special treat.
This candle is a cube, with beeswax hexagons and a bee on top.130 g and a burn time of approximately 12 hours. As they are handmade there can be small imperfections. A white film called 'bloom' will appear over time on the candel surface. This bllom shows it is 100% beeswax and can be left on or is easy to rub off with a soft cloth. I like the rich natual look of bloom but you may prefer a polished shiny look. Enjoy the light!
