I have hand engraved the fine silver wings of these monarch butterfly wings. Then enamelled the colour with glass enamel.
To get the contrasting black on the wing, I oxidise the silver.
The white dots are polished back silver.
Each wing measures 13mm wide at the widest point and 25mm high. Including the earwire it is 41mm.
