A pure silk scarf created with eco printing, a contemporary process of bundling fabrics up with plant matter combined with age old traditions of creating dyes from natural resources foraged from the local environment.

This unique scarf has been hand dyed with New Zealand native pohutukawa and tanekaha leaving intricate and completely natural prints on a deep coral coloured background. A one of a kind garment made with aroha.

Habotai is a woven lightweight silk with a smooth sheen and soft drape, a perfect weight for spring and summer but giving enough warmth to be versatile to wear in winter too. Organic colours have a lustrous iridescent quality on this natural fabric.

Scarf measures 179 cm x 35 cm. Silk weight 8 momme
