Purpleheart cutting/cheese board - The "Little Stinker"
The 'Little Stinker' range came about because there were one too many experiences of having garlic flavors in the fruit salad, and chilli burn on a cut apple.

Despite best efforts to cut the stinky things like garlic, ginger, onions and chillies on a certain part of the main board, somehow the flavors always migrated to things they didn't pair well with. Garlic strawberries in your smoothy, anyone?

There had to be a less face screwed up way! Well here it is. A small board primarily designed to cut the stinky and pungent things on, to help keep your main board a little more neutral. It also makes for a great small serving board for a few crackers, or some cheese or sliced meats.

It is approximately 200mm x 130mm x 15mm. This may vary to slightly larger at times, particularly in length. As we are all about waste reduction at Re-Arranged, it is the material we have on hand that decides the size of something, and NOT set in stone dimensions . We absolutely refuse to cut off that extra 5mm-40mm just for the sake of it, and believe in leaving it as part of the product, not filling the offcuts bin. You can see the slight variances in the photo of the stacked boards

Made from purpleheart timber offcuts that got rescued from a builders pile of throwaways, in the Lake Brunner area. Being a very heavy, dense and rot/insect resistant timber it is primarily used as decking in NZ. Purpleheart is a brownish color when first cut, but with exposure to UV the color changes and darkens to the stunning purple you see here. It continues to deepen over time, and when used as decking, will eventually become weathered grey.

All our boards are finished with our beeswax, tung and coconut oil board finish.

(Listing is for ONE board, the others in the pictures are for size comparison only)
