This beautiful flying Kererū mobile will never tire of flying! It will fly gently in a breeze or you can set it in motion by pulling a string below

The Kererū (or NZ wood pigeon) is endemic to New Zealand. Although quiet and reclusive by nature, kererū have earned a reputation as the drunkest bird in New Zealand and been known to fall from trees after consuming rotting fruit left lying on the ground. Kererū play a vital role in dispersing the seeds of native New Zealand species such as karaka, miro, tawa and taraire across large areas, because they are one of the few birds large enough to swallow the fruit whole.

• Made from New Zealand Tōtara and sealed with a natural beeswax and tung oil polish.
• Bird size: 52cm wide x 35cm long x 8cm high.

We handcraft all our products. Due to the handmade process and unique nature of the wood, minor variations in design will occur.
