Hand Crocheted Merlin the Moose
Who would not love to see this cheeky character in the room? Although I wonder if he is too cheeky for his own good. After all, moose were on the border of extinction during the colonial era.
Merlin the Moose is lovingly hand crocheted from my home in New Zealand and is made from 100% cotton yarn and filled with polyester hobby fibrefill. Acrylic yarn is substituted when cotton yarn is unavailable.
A group of moose is called a herd. You'll be pleased you only have one moose because he gets up to enough trouble on his own. Imagine how much trouble he could get into in a group!
Merlin stands 33cm (13 inches) tall from tip of toe to tip of antler and 21 cm (8.5 inches) length from tip of tail to tip of nose.
With his antlers you can be assured he is a male moose because only male moose have antlers.
Merlin has very small eyes which probably explains why moose generally have poor eyesight. They rely on their sense of smell and hearing a lot more than their sight.
Merlin the Moose would love to be owned by a little boy or girl who can take him on adventures. Alternatively, he'd feel just at home with an adult who can take him on walks or runs because Merlin loves to graze.
Merlin the Moose comes from a non-smoking, pet free home.
Merlin is tan with cream antlers but if you'd prefer other colours, just let me know as Merlin can be made in any colour combination you like.
