Very silky, light weight and warm, great in autumn/winter for when you just need a beautiful something to finish your look.
This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art.
Fine black & white NZ Merino wool and fawn alpaca fibre from my own Huacaya alpacas were laid out in thin layers and felted with wet felting technique.
The Merino wool is also entwined with strands of white mulberry silk fibre which adds a lovely lustre.
This item comes well cleaned throughout the felting process with biodegradable skin friendly soap as well as ironed and is ready to wear.
The scarf is hand washable in warm water with mild shampoo or silk/wool detergent.Roll dry in towel.
Drying: on a flat surface.
Ironing: silk/wool setting, with use of steam.
Do not put in washing machine.
